As we come to the end of another Christmas season, we want to take a moment to pause, reflect, and say the biggest thank you to our incredible community.
This Christmas, 302 Christmas boxes were donated, and packed by residents in Aylesbury, Amersham, Beaconsfield, Gerrards Cross, Hazlemere, High Wycombe, Holmer Green, Marlow, Princes Risborough plus surrounding areas and delivered with care, generosity and thoughtfulness throughout Buckinghamshire.

Every box represents a moment where someone chose kindness.
A truly community-led effort
Our Christmas Appeal is only possible because of the amazing people and organisations who support us year after year.
In 2025, boxes were donated and collected through:
• Local schools and nurseries
• Community groups and Scouts
• Businesses across Bucks
• Families, parents and children
• Individual residents giving what they could
From shoeboxes carefully packed at kitchen tables, to large-scale collections organised by schools and businesses, this was a collective community effort from start to finish.

Who the boxes supported
The Christmas boxes collected this year were delivered to support:
• Local families experiencing financial hardship (Buckinghamshire)
• Children in hospital who may otherwise feel forgotten at Christmas (Stoke Mandeville, High Wycombe & Wexham Park)
• Community partners working directly with vulnerable individuals (Buckinghamshire)
• Firefighters working throughout the festive period (High Wycombe Fire Station)
• NHS staff and midwives working throughout the festive period (Stoke Mandeville, High Wycombe & Wexham Park)
Each delivery was made with dignity, care and respect, something we hold at the heart of everything we do..
Beyond the numbers
While 302 boxes is a number we are incredibly proud of, the true impact goes far deeper.
It’s the reassurance for a family that they are not alone.
It’s the smile from a resident receiving a box made especially for them.
It’s children learning that kindness is something we do, not just something we talk about.
This appeal wasn’t about perfection or pressure it was about people showing up for one another in whatever way they could.

Thank you to our volunteers
Behind the scenes, our volunteers worked tirelessly:
• Collecting and sorting donations
• Checking boxes carefully
• Coordinating drop-off points
• Supporting deliveries across Bucks
Kindness in Bucks is volunteer-led, and this campaign once again showed what’s possible when people give their time as well as their hearts.
Looking ahead
Christmas may be over, but the need for community support doesn’t stop in December.
As we move into the new year, we’ll continue:
• Making baby baskets for families in need
• Running free community events
• Supporting parents, children and older residents across Buckinghamshire
Thank you for standing with us, supporting us, and believing in what we do.
From all of us at Kindness in Bucks — thank you for making Christmas 2025 one filled with compassion, generosity and genuine community spirit 💕
Please send us a message if you have any questions and our team of volunteers will get back you hello@kindnessinbucks.com
