Kindness in Bucks is growing and so is the number of local families who need our support.
Every week, we receive referrals for families who need a little extra help welcoming their new baby. Our Moses basket bundles are filled with practical essentials including nappies, toiletries, clothing, blankets and everything a new baby needs for those precious first weeks.
And thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, those donations keep coming.
But we have a problem…
We’ve run out of room.
We are incredibly fortunate to already have one storage unit provided to Kindness in Bucks completely free of charge. It has made an enormous difference to what we’re able to collect, organise and distribute.
However, demand for our baby baskets and essentials has grown so much that we now need to double our storage space.
We have the opportunity to secure a second unit, giving our volunteers the room they need to safely store donations, prepare baskets and respond to referrals when families need us.
More room means more families helped
This isn’t simply about having somewhere to put boxes.
More space means we can:
Accept more essential donations from our community
Store nappies, clothing, toiletries and baby equipment safely
Prepare more Moses basket bundles
Respond more quickly when referrals come in
Support even more babies and families across Buckinghamshire
We’ve launched a GoFundMe: Help Kindness in Bucks Make Room for More Families.
Every donation, whatever the amount, will help us secure the additional space we need and continue providing essential baby items to families in our community.
