💕 Kindness in Bucks: Join-in June Round-Up 💕

What a wonderful month June has been! Our #JoinInJune campaign was all about bringing the community together, spreading kindness, and creating special memories — and thanks to your amazing support, we did just that. Here’s a look back at everything we got up to this month…

👨‍👧 Father’s Day Dads Playgroup

Our Father’s Day special Dads Playgroup was a heartwarming celebration of fatherhood. Hosted by Amanda and Clancy at St Thomas Church Hall in Holtspur with a guest apperance from Elvan of Moo Music, it was a chance for dads and their little ones to play, bond, and enjoy some relaxed time together. We loved seeing the smiles and laughter – thank you to all the brilliant dads who came along!

🎁 Baby Basket Session

June also marked a milestone our first ever Baby Basket session! With the help of our brilliant volunteers, we lovingly packed 15 baby baskets for local families in need. Our next session is scheduled for Thursday 10th July 9.30am at the Beech House, Beaconsfield, and we’d love you to join us!

🍰 Community Afternoon Teas

We brought people together over tea and cake at not one but two special afternoon teas this month! One was hosted at Smiffys Café, and the other in the unique and atmospheric Air Raid Shelters, kindly sponsored by Hub Care Support and supported by local residents Susan and Heather. These events were full of warmth, connection, and kindness — a true reflection of our community spirit.

👣 Buggy Walks in Marlow

Led by the lovely Hannah, our buggy walks through Higginson Park were a breath of fresh air – literally! These walks gave new parents a chance to connect, chat, and enjoy gentle exercise in the great outdoors. They were a hit, and we can’t wait to host more. Our next event is Tuesday 15th July.

🚼 Choking Masterclass with Sammy from Happy Hearts

We were thrilled to offer a free online choking masterclass, expertly led by Sammy at Happy Hearts First Aid. 25 parents joined us to learn vital life-saving skills in a supportive and relaxed environment. A huge thank you to Sammy for donating her time and knowledge so generously.

We love a good giveaway, and this month we had two exciting ones:

• 🎉 Circus Tickets: A huge congratulations to Katy Skinner, who won a family ticket for 5 to the circus, kindly donated by the Tyler Green PTA. Tickets are still available to buy for 11th and 12th July if you’d like to go along!
