October Round-Up: A Month of Community & Kindness

October has been full of connection, support and smiles here at Kindness in Bucks. As the leaves changed and autumn arrived, so did the warmth of our wonderful community coming together in so many beautiful ways 💗✨

☕ Community Coffee Morning

We kicked off the month with a lovely community coffee morning, bringing local parents, carers and residents together for a relaxed morning of chat, connection and friendship.

Welcomed new faces & familiar friends
Shared stories, support & laughter
Strengthened the sense of community we are building together

These small gatherings mean so much — they remind us how powerful human connection can be 🤍 Our next coffee morning is Friday 7th November.

🎃 Halloween Dads Playgroup

Our Dads Playgroup embraced the spooky season with a brilliant Halloween-themed session! 👻

Dads and little ones enjoyed:

Crafting & sensory play
Halloween goodies
A safe, welcoming space to have fun and bond

It was wonderful to see dads building friendships while giving their little ones a magical morning. Everyone left with big smiles (and maybe a little glitter!) ✨ Our next event and last one of the year is Sunday 7th December.

🚒 Fire Station Food Drop

One of our favourite moments this month was surprising our amazing local firefighters with homemade cakes and treats 💕

Our volunteers delivered boxes of goodies to say a heartfelt thank you for their service and dedication to our community.

A small gesture — but a meaningful way to show appreciation for those who protect and support us every day 🙌 We are also supporting and surprising Bucks firefighters this year as part of our shoe box appeal. Christmas Appeal 2025
