Kindness in Bucks Shortlisted for Proud of Bucks Award 2026 💕

Last night was a very special evening for everyone at Kindness in Bucks as we attended the Proud of Bucks Awards 2026.
We were absolutely delighted to be shortlisted for the Newcomer Award, alongside two incredible organisations making a real difference in their communities. While the award ultimately went to the deserving team at Switch Lanes CIC, we are incredibly proud to have been recognised as one of the final three nominees.
To be shortlisted less than two years after launching Kindness in Bucks CIC is a wonderful achievement and a reflection of the kindness, generosity and community spirit that exists across Buckinghamshire.
A huge congratulations to Switch Lanes CIC on their award and to all of the finalists and winners celebrated throughout the evening.
Since launching, we have been privileged to support local families through our Baby Basket project, bring people together through free community events, support elderly residents, and create opportunities for people to connect, volunteer and feel less alone. None of this would be possible without our amazing volunteers, supporters, sponsors and everyone who donates their time, money and items to help others.
Being recognised alongside so many inspiring individuals and organisations was a reminder that Buckinghamshire is full of people who genuinely care about making a difference.
Whilst we didn’t bring home the trophy, we left feeling incredibly proud of what our community has achieved together. This nomination belongs to every volunteer who has packed a basket, delivered a donation, organised an event, shared a post, made a donation or simply supported our mission along the way.
Thank you for believing in Kindness in Bucks and helping us spread kindness across our community every single day. 💕
Together, we are proving that small acts of kindness really do make a big difference.
