A Wonderful Afternoon of Connection at JB’s Café 💕

Last Friday, Kindness in Bucks was delighted to host a very special Afternoon Tea at JB’s Café in High Wycombe, welcoming over 50 elderly residents from across the community for an afternoon filled with friendship, laughter and connection.

Guests enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea lovingly prepared by the amazing team at JB’s Café, who as always went above and beyond to support our community. From the wonderful food and refreshments to their kindness and hospitality, the JB’s team helped create a truly welcoming environment where everyone could relax, chat and enjoy themselves.

The event was kindly sponsored by Oakwood Estates and Holly Small Design, whose generosity helped make the afternoon possible. The beautiful balloon display, created by the wonderful Made for Moment Events, added such a warm and welcoming atmosphere to the room and made the event feel extra special for our guests.

We were also joined by some very special visitors from the local fire service, who spent time speaking with residents about fire safety within the home and sharing important advice and support in such a friendly and approachable way.

Events like these are so important in helping reduce loneliness and isolation within our community. Seeing new friendships form, hearing laughter around the tables and watching people leave smiling is exactly why we do what we do.
