Summer Round-Up

While summer brought sunshine and a well-earned break for many of our amazing volunteers, the kindness didn’t stop at Kindness in Bucks 💗✨

Even during the quieter months, our community spirit stayed strong and the support continued behind the scenes.

🎪 Hazlemere Summer Fair

A highlight of our summer was having a stall at the Hazlemere Summer Fair! 🌟

• We welcomed so many lovely families

• Spread the word about Kindness in Bucks

• Raised funds for our baby baskets

• Met new supporters and future volunteers

The community support was incredible — thank you to everyone who stopped by, donated, chatted with us, or shared kind words.

Events like these remind us how strong and caring our local community truly is 💕

👶 Baby Baskets Still Delivered

Even during summer, families in need continued to reach out — and we continued to support them.

With the help of our core volunteers, we:

• Delivered baby baskets to local mums and newborns

• Responded to last-minute referrals

• Made sure families felt seen, supported and cared for 💕

Every basket brought comfort and kindness just when it was needed most.

🚶‍♀️ Evening Community Walks Continued

Our evening walks carried on throughout the warmer months, offering a calm and friendly space for:

• Fresh air & gentle exercise

• Friendship, conversation & connection

• A moment to pause and reset

These walks are such a lovely reminder that community doesn’t take a holiday 💫

🧸 Donation Stock Room Refresh

Behind the scenes, we also rolled up our sleeves and:

• Sorted and refreshed our donation stock room

• Organised incoming baby items & essentials

• Prepared supplies ready for autumn requests

A tidy and organised space means we can respond faster and more efficiently when families need us — one of the many quiet but powerful ways kindness works.
