As we welcome a new year, we’re launching our £1 Kindness Appeal — a simple, community-led way to help Kindness in Bucks continue supporting local families during January and February.
These months are traditionally quieter for fundraising, but they’re often when families and residents feel most isolated, lonely, and in need of connection. Our work doesn’t pause — and neither does the need.
What is the £1 Kindness Appeal?
The £1 Kindness Appeal invites our community to donate just £1 to help us continue our work during January and February 2026.
We know money is tight for many families. This appeal isn’t about pressure — it’s about collective kindness. When lots of people give a little, together we can make a big difference.
If you’re able to give more, there are options to donate £2.50 or £5 — but £1 truly is enough.
Why it matters
January and February are some of our most challenging months financially, yet demand for our support remains high.
Funds raised through the £1 Kindness Appeal will help us to:
• 👶 Continue providing baby baskets to families who need support during the early months of parenthood
• 👨👩👧👦 Run free, inclusive community events that bring parents, children and residents together
• 🤝 Support our volunteer-led programmes across Buckinghamshire
